Evansville Soccer Player Abby Guerra is Not Dead

Amazing but horrible story - Abby was declared dead after an accident last week, but it turns out that it was another girl who died and Abby is still alive though critically injured. Thoughts with her family, and with that of the girl who did die, Marlena Cantu.

USI Basketball Player Dies During Game


Explanation if you are not from southern Indiana: a University of Southern Indiana basketball player, Jeron Lewis, died during a game in Owensboro, KY. In 1977, the entire University of Evansville men's basketball team was killed in a plane crash in Evansville.

March Madness

No comic today, as we are in St Louis where the amazing Purple Aces women's basketball team has advanced from the #9 seed to the MVC championship game; winners go to the Big Dance. Last night the Aces came back from a 20-point deficit to tie the game and win in overtime. We yelled a lot and partied a little. One more game....
