I got into a long internet argument with someone claiming Perry would kill President Obama if nominated (slight right leaning board). I responded that moderates tend to want their representatives to not be so religion focused. I was shot down immediately and told that "all leaders run on religious bases and you just don't agree with his religion, atheist." Wow. Ok, then. I think the GOP is screwed here if this really is the thinking.
I'm glad that I learned that I'm an atheist as well. I'll have a lot more free time on Sundays for day baseball!
