I've always wondered why the god-botherers treat their sky daddy like a super hero who swoops in and saves the day at the last minute, but never like the super villain who tied Lois Lane to the railroad tracks in the first place.

Excellent point.
Religious people often ascribe the positive to their chosen deity but negatives are almost always the fault of man.
I agree. even when god DOES it, it's beacuse of man's sin!
