Mike - I'm flattered to have you comment here; thanks. Obviously we have different views on the world, but I like your style a lot. I know the gun cannot be uninvented, but access to it can be limited more than it is now - and the view that more guns will allow wise 'good' citizens to intervene violently to prevent violence from escalating is not one that I share. But heck, thanks for commenting.
Haha, nicely done. I've always felt like the whole "armed bystanders will heroically stop the gun-wielding psycho" thing is kind of a trumped-up Hollywood myth, and I say that as a liberal who tends to actually agree with the conservative position on the 2nd amendment.
I provide cartoons for the Evansville Courier and Press and I'm also a Professor of History at the University of Evansville and my academic research is on WW2.This is a personal website and reflects my views, not those of the institutions with which I am associated.

I'm flattered. When you learn to "un-invent" the gun let me know.
